I have this sinking feeling in my stomach. Negative campaigning and fear politics won out in Tuesday primaries. Clinton was successful on two fronts. First she dragged Obama into the same shitty politics she is a pro at, and second she won two big states and changed the momentum of this whole game.
McCain and Obama are the two big game changers here. McCain has fought the Republican establishment for years, but more recently has been polishing their shoes. Obama offered us new hope and positive change, but is sounding more like your average liberal democrat as the campaign rolls along. Perhaps Bloomberg made too hasty a decision.
