We went and saw W this afternoon. I thought it was going to be a comedy.

The theater was full of democrats I presume; a crowd looking for some humor in an era that seems to lack a bit. It was actually quite crowded for a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

The lack of humor might be related to the fact that we are living through this nightmare. If we lived in France it might be humorous…. We have elected the leader of the most powerful nation on earth who is a former drunk, went AWOL from the National Guard, thinks that God directed him to be president, cannot and has not managed anything of significance, and has a complex about pleasing his father that makes insanity look sane. The scariest thing is that, our system elected him, he is incompetent, and he was re elected.

My God, no wonder I did not laugh.
